Yes, the GX1 is compatible with any TV, monitor, or projector that has a free HDMI port. Thanks to HDMI 2.1 (including eARC), it is also perfect for modern 4K TVs and AV receivers to output high-end audio formats like Dolby Atmos.

Do Dolby Vision & Atmos work with Netflix, Disney+, etc.? +

Yes, absolutely. If you have a corresponding subscription with a streaming service and your TV or sound system supports the formats, the GX1 will perfectly play content from Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and other providers in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

What exactly does the AI Picture Optimization (AI-PQ) do? +

You don't need to adjust anything. The artificial intelligence (AI) in the processor automatically analyzes each image in real time and intelligently enhances colors, contrasts, and sharpness. This makes the image appear significantly more three-dimensional and brilliant, even for content that is not in perfect 4K quality.

The LED on the front is very bright. Can it be turned off? +

Yes, we have taken our customers' feedback into account. We offer a simple solution via a software patch that significantly reduces the brightness of the LED. You can find this patch (an APK file) and a very simple step-by-step guide on our support page at: orbsmart.de/en/support/. The installation only takes a few minutes.

Do I have access to the complete Google Play Store? +

Yes, you have access to the official Google Play Store for Google TV. This means you can install all popular apps like Netflix, Apple TV+, DAZN, YouTube, public broadcast libraries, as well as thousands of other apps optimized for TV.

What exactly is included in the package? +

Included in the package, besides the GX1 Box, are a suitable HDMI cable, a remote control, a power adapter, and an operating manual (German/English). So you have everything you need to get started right away.
