Does the Mini PC get hot during operation?
Since the AW-15 operates without a fan, it uses the aluminum casing for passive heat dissipation. It is therefore completely normal and technically intended for the casing to become warm during operation. The built-in Intel components are easily designed to handle these temperatures.
Can I upgrade the RAM or the SSD?
The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD (Type 2280) is accessible and can be replaced with a larger model if necessary. In addition, the device features a maintenance hatch on the bottom, allowing you to easily add an extra short M.2 SATA SSD (Type 2242) without any tools. The DDR4 RAM (SO-DIMM) is also slotted and theoretically replaceable.
Does the device support Auto Power On?
Yes. In the AW-15's BIOS/UEFI, you can activate professional B2B functions such as Auto Power On (automatic startup as soon as the device receives power from the outlet), Wake-on-LAN (WOL), PXE boot (network boot), and RTC wake-up (scheduled startup).
