Plug in and start streaming

The setup is absolutely simple: just plug it into a free HDMI port and connect it to the TV via USB cable (alternatively with an optional USB power adapter). Then establish the Wi-Fi connection, log in with your Google account, and start streaming right away!* This way, even older TVs can be turned into smart TVs.

Chromecast

Easily stream content from your smartphone to the big TV: with the GD1, you can stream from thousands of compatible Android and iOS apps directly from your smartphone, laptop or tablet to the TV screen. Or simply mirror your Chrome browser to the TV.

Android TV incl. Play Store

The Play Store in Android TV offers a large selection over now more than 7,000 available Android apps. These are specially optimized for use on a TV and allow easy control via remote control or voice commands. Note: some apps are not compatible or only compatible to a limited extent.

Powerful hardware

The quad-core Cortex-A35 CPU (Amlogic S905Y4) and 2GB of DDR4 RAM memory enable smooth operation, even for demanding applications. There is also just under 16GB of free memory available. The integrated WLAN-AC (dual-band) and Bluetooth 5.0 antenna ensures a stable and fast connection.

FAQ

In addition to the TV stick, the scope of delivery includes a USB-C cable, an HDMI extension cable, a remote control and an instruction manual (German/English).

If there is no free or available USB slot on the TV or if it does not provide enough power, a separate power supply (e.g. from a smartphone or tablet) can also be connected.

Yes, the full-fledged chormecast function is already integrated.

No, the Play Store for Android TV is significantly smaller than the one on a normal Android operating system (smartphone/tablet). There are about 7,000 apps available for free.

You receive updates directly Over-the-Air (OTA), i.e. they are downloaded automatically via Internet connection. Android TV version updates are also possible in this way.

On the bottom side there is a hole with a small button. Press this button e.g. with a paper clip. The TV Stick should restart automatically afterwards. Press and hold the Home and Back buttons on the remote control simultaneously to re-pair/pair.

*A Google account and a compatible mobile device are also required. Memberships of streaming services are not included. Listed streaming services are only available in selected countries. In order to use them, you need to register. Costs may be incurred. Broadband Internet is required.
