Which accessory fits my needs?

Airmouse or Keyboard?

An airmouse (WA-1, AM-1) controls the cursor by hand movement – ideal for Android apps on TV. The AM-2 is better if you want to type a lot or scroll classically using a touchpad.

Why Backlighting?

In a darkened home cinema, keys are hard to see. Models like the AM-1 Pro or AM-2 feature backlit keys so you keep control even in the dark.

Windows or Android?

All models work on both systems. However, the WA-1 is specifically optimized for Windows (special keys). For Android TV boxes, we recommend the AM-1 series.

Why "Active" Adapters?

Passive adapters often only manage 30Hz at 4K. Our active adapters (DP-H1/H2) guarantee full 4K@60Hz for a smooth image when connecting e.g. a PC (DisplayPort) to a TV (HDMI).

What is an airmouse and how does it work?

An airmouse (like the WA-1 or AM-1) has built-in gyro sensors. You simply move the remote in the air, and the cursor on the screen follows your hand movement. This is ideal for TV apps that were actually designed for touchscreens (tablets/smartphones) and cannot be operated with standard arrow keys.

Do the keyboards work on my Smart TV?

That depends on the TV manufacturer. Keyboard input works on almost all devices that support USB keyboards. However, the mouse function is often not or only partially supported by many Smart TV systems (e.g., Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS). On Android TV boxes or PCs, all functions work without restrictions.

When do I need an active adapter?

If you want to connect a console or player with an HDMI output to a monitor with a DisplayPort input, you absolutely need an active converter like the Orbsmart DP-H2. A simple cable does not work here because the signal direction (HDMI to DP) requires complex technical conversion.
