The Orbsmart Soundpad 700 Android Internet radio has a large 17.8cm (7 inch) display which offers excellent picture quality. The resolution is a proud 1280 x 800 pixels and shows high sharpness and bright colors. For this purpose, the Internet radio has a multi-touch screen.

Octa Power

Eight-core power! The installed octa-core processor (Cortex-A53 @ 1.2 GHz) plus 2 GB RAM does not run out of steam even in demanding applications or games. In addition, you now have almost 14GB of free memory at your disposal. This is expandable via a microSD memory card (up to 32GB).

Android

With the Soundpad you have access to a full-fledged Android operating system (7.1), which is particularly characterized by its stability and speed. As usual on the smartphone or tablet, the operation is simple and intuitive. All functions can be controlled with simple touch gestures.

Apps

With the pre-installed Play Store (formerly Android Market), you have the free choice over now more than 1 million available Android apps. Install your favorite apps like Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tune-IN, KODI, Youtube, Facebook, Weather and many more. Even unavailable apps can be installed manually via .apk file.

Connection

Despite the compact dimensions, there are numerous connection options: 1x HDMI 2.0a (for connecting to a TV), 1x micro-USB 2.0 (for connecting USB sticks/hard drives), 1x 3.5 mm line-OUT (for external speakers) and a microSD/HC slot (for cards up to 32 GB). The built-in dual-band (2.4/5 GHz) WIFI-ac antenna lets you connect to your home network easily and quickly to access your media or go online. Thanks to Bluetooth 4.0, you can also use the Soundpad as a transmitter to transfer music to your Bluetooth speakers, for example.

Stereo speaker

Despite the small price, the Orbsmart Soundpad 700 web radio has a high-quality build. The stereo speakers offer an excellent sound. The buttons for volume control as well as power on/off are directly accessible on the top. With the built-in rechargeable battery, you can use the radio for a short time without a power outlet. If you want to connect your own stereo system or speakers, this is easily possible with the 3.5mm line-out.

Camera + microphone

Another highlight: a 2MP camera integrated directly in the front including microphone! The Orbsmart Soundpad 700 can be used directly for video calls (e.g. with Skype or Facebook Messenger) without additional hardware (webcam, microphone). Everything is combined in one compact housing.
